Power
Ken
Run-stop pressure, Dragonlash Kick and big damage.
Should you main Ken?
Ken is Street Fighter 6's rushdown shoto: run-stop pressure, Dragonlash Kick approaches, Jinrai kicks, and big damage once he is plus. He wants to skip neutral with Drive Rush and keep you guessing between throw, meaty, and special cancel.
He is more explosive than Ryu and slightly less honest in neutral. Players who autopilot Dragonlash into Perfect Parry will get punished; players who earn plus frames and vary mixups win rounds quickly.
Main Ken if you like offense-first Street Fighter and already understand Drive Rush confirms. Lab a safe jump, a throw loop, and a convert from your best button. Respect opponents who Perfect Parry your predictable run-ins and go back to walking neutral.
Drive Rush when you have already forced respect, not as your only approach from full screen. On wake-up, mix throw and meaty; on defense, do not mash Dragonlash into a meaty that was waiting for it. Confirm into Super only when the damage actually closes the round.
