Mid

Ahri

the Nine-Tailed Fox

Forgiving mobile mage: three dashes, a charm that sets up picks, and a safe roam pattern.

Should you main Ahri?

Ahri is a mobile mid mage: Orbs poke and execute with the true-damage third hit, Fox-Fire snaps nearby targets, Charm sets up picks, and Spirit Rush gives three dashes for engage or escape. She plays for roaming and picking isolated targets more than for five-man teamfight ultimates.

She is a strong learner midlaner because her wave clear is honest, her ult forgives mispositioning, and Charm teaches you to look for overextensions. She falls off if you never leave lane while the enemy mid is collapsing side lanes.

Pick Ahri when you want AP mid with built-in mobility and pick potential. Build toward burst that finishes Charm targets, and track the enemy jungler so your roams are not free deaths. She is less ideal if your team needs a hard waveclear control mage who never leaves mid.

Charm is your engage permission slip; without it, respect assassins who out-burst you in a short trade. After six, glance at side lanes every wave — a Spirit Rush roam that collects a kill and a plate beats sitting mid for another 20 CS when your bot is collapsing.
