Yasuo
the Unforgiven
Wind-walled swordsman; one of the most mechanically demanding champions in the game.
Should you main Yasuo?
Yasuo is a high-ceiling mid or top skirmisher: Flow shields him after moving, Steel Tempest stacks into a tornado knockup, Wind Wall blocks projectiles, and Last Breath dashes to airborne enemies for a multi-target ult. He wants extended fights where he can dash between minions and champions.
He is mechanically demanding. Missing a Q stack, blowing Wind Wall on a single skillshot, or ulting the wrong knockup throws the fight. He scales with crit items and wants side-lane pressure or mid-river skirmishes more than pure wave-clear mage patterns.
Main Yasuo only if you will put dozens of games into dash tracking and wave management. In lower ranks he can still snowball off mistakes; in higher ranks opponents punish his weak early levels. Pair him with knockup supports or jungle ganks that set up Last Breath without you needing a perfect tornado every time.
Wave manage before you hero: a shoved wave into a jungle track is how Yasuo gets double killed on a dash. In teamfights, wait for a trusted knockup instead of forcing a solo tornado every time — Last Breath range and timing matter more than raw mechanical flair.
