Jungle

Lee Sin

the Blind Monk

Kick-insec jungler; the most-played high-skill jungler in the game.

Should you main Lee Sin?

Lee Sin is the early-game Jungle duelist: Sonic Wave / Resonating Strike for gap close, Safeguard / Iron Will for shield and lifesteal, Tempest / Cripple for slow, and Dragon's Rage kicks a target into your team. He snowballs leads with ganks and invades, then falls off if the game reaches full-build carries unchecked.

Mechanically he rewards ward hops, insec kicks, and sharp pathing. New junglers often burn energy and arrive at ganks with no tools left. He is a poor full-clear farmer compared to modern scaling junglers.

Main Lee Sin if you track enemy jungler pathing and want to decide the game before thirty minutes. Practice the ward hop in the practice tool until it is muscle memory. When behind, play for vision and counterganks rather than forcing hero plays into fed carries.

Early clears should set up a scuttle fight or a gank on a pushed lane, not a full idle clear while lanes explode. If you fail an insec, walk away; doubling down with no cooldowns is how Lee Sin turns a small mistake into a lost void grub and a lost tempo.
