Gun carry · also assassin
Haze
Sleep Dagger, Smoke Bomb and a Bullet Dance ultimate. A souls-hungry gun carry.
Should you main Haze?
Haze is Deadlock's gun assassin: Sleep Dagger knocks a target out, Smoke Bomb fades her into invisibility for flanks, Fixation stacks bonus bullet damage as she stays on a victim, and Bullet Dance is the evasive close-range ult — not a sleep ult. She wins by isolating one hero and deleting them before peels arrive.
She wants souls for gun items and positioning that keeps her from getting collapsed when invisible fades. Overextending for one more clip is how Haze players donate shutoffs.
Main Haze if you like aiming and tempo in Deadlock's street fights more than pure spirit combo heroes. Farm efficiently, use invis to take good angles rather than to run down mid alone, and ult when your team can actually confirm the sleep — not as a panic button in a lost fight.
Buy the gun upgrades that keep your time-to-kill low, then respect heroes who reveal or zone invis approaches. Bullet Dance wins when your team is already looking at the same target; solo sleeping someone across the map while your team farms elsewhere just wakes into a lost duel.
