Duelist
Phoenix
Flash-and-molly duelist who heals in his own fire and scouts with Run It Back.
Should you main Phoenix?
Phoenix is the entry Duelist with built-in recovery: Curveball flashes, Hot Hands and Blaze heal him in the fire, and Run It Back gives a free peek that refunds the round if he dies. He opens sites without needing an Operator or perfect movement tech.
His flashes are self-sufficient but punishable if you curve them poorly into your own team. Blaze walls are short and loud; use them to cut a lane for a second, not as permanent Controllers smoke. He shines in low-to-mid ranks where a self-heal and a practice peek matter more than complex utility.
Main Phoenix when you want to learn entry timing without Reyna's all-or-nothing kill dependency. Practice popping Curveball as you swing, planting behind Blaze, and using Run It Back only when the information is worth the ult investment. He pairs well with Controllers who can actually hold the space he takes.
On defense, hold a space you can heal inside and save Run It Back for information peeks that would otherwise cost a full buy. On attack, curve the flash as you swing so teammates are not staring into it, then plant while Blaze cuts the most common retake lane.
