Duelist

Hush

Telekinetic duelist who redirects flashes and pulls midair, then suspends a site for the kill.

Should you main Hush?

Hush is Valorant's telekinetic Duelist from patch 13.09 (Guangdong): Telekinesis extends interact and pickup range, Flashbulb and Displacement can be redirected midair after you throw them, Flow anchors then propels her, and Suspension — her ultimate — levitates everyone it detonates on. Official role is Duelist, not Controller, even when the kit feels hybrid.

Telekinesis is her passive: she picks up weapons, the Spike on attack, and interacts with switches from increased range, so she can grab an Operator or plant without fully peaking a common angle. Flow (C) drops an anchor and propels her to it after a short delay; if she is already airborne she briefly levitates in place first, which sets up redirected throws. Flashbulb (Q) and Displacement (E) both throw, prep with alt-fire, then reactivate to steer toward your crosshair before they explode on a surface or after a delay — Flashbulb blinds anyone looking at it, while Displacement pulls everyone to the center and concusses them if they slam into a wall or another player. Displacement refreshes every two kills, so multi-frag rounds refund her best disruption tool. Suspension (X) sends a steerable field you detonate to levitate everyone inside, freezing a retake or an execute long enough for the team to shoot free kills.

Main Hush if you like entry timing that is about midair utility control more than raw Operator flicks. She rewards players who rehearse Flow into a Flashbulb or Displacement redirect, then take the space while enemies are blinded or pulled. She is weaker if you want a simple dash-and-spray Duelist like Reyna, or if your team already lacks smokes and needs a true Controller. Similar agents: Phoenix for self-sufficient flashes into site, Neon for high-mobility commits, and Jett when you still want the airborne angle game without Suspension's teamfight freeze.

On attack, Flow onto an off-angle, redirect Flashbulb as you swing, and save Displacement for the clustered stack or the post-plant hallway. On defense, Suspension is a retake button when two or more attackers are committed to the Spike — detonate when your teammates are ready to shoot, not as a panic solo ult. Track the two-kill refresh on Displacement the same way Reyna tracks dismiss timing; greedy double peeks without Flow ready are how new Hush players throw the round's only engage tool.
