Duelist

Jett

Dash-and-updraft entry duelist built for Operator flicks and instant escapes.

Should you main Jett?

Jett is Valorant's classic entry Duelist: Updraft and Tailwind let her take unexpected angles, Cloudburst covers a peek, and Blade Storm rewards the Operator player who already won the aim duel. Drift keeps her airborne longer after a jump so she can clear high ground without eating a free shot on the way down.

She is a poor first agent if your team needs smokes or info. Jett creates space by being the first body through a choke, then resetting with a dash when the trade fails. Most ranked teams expect her on attack to open site and on defense to hold an aggressive off-angle she can dash out of.

Mechanically she rewards crosshair placement and Operator confidence more than lineup knowledge. If you like Operator rounds, silent steps into an elevated peek, and a panic dash when two people swing you, Jett is the cleanest match in the roster. Pair her with an Initiator who flashes or recon-darts before you commit.
