Vanguard
Venom
Swinging dive tank with tendrils that grab and slow, plus a bonus shield when diving.
Should you main Venom?
Venom plays Vanguard like a backline problem: tendril engages, surplus health while he is in the fray, and enough mobility to leap onto Strategists then leave once cooldowns dump. The point is chaos — turn their Vanguards around so your Duelists get free shots.
He fails when he dives alone into double Support peels with no follow-up. Good Venom players track enemy cool-downs and leave before the stun chain lands. He is a frontline who often plays like an assassin tank.
Pick Venom if you like aggressive Vanguard paths and coordinating dives with a Spider-Man or Magik. Dive the Support whose cooldowns are down, then exit to your team. Avoid mindlessly swinging into Emma or Cloak peels every fight without a plan.
Engage when your Duelists are already taking an angle, not ten seconds before. Spend surplus health to create space, then leave — greedily staying for a second kill after every cool-down is spent is how Venom feeds. Call the dive target in one word so the team swings with you.
