Should you main Lifeline?
Lifeline still plays Support, but her Season 23+ kit is built around D.O.C.: Heal Drone tops up nearby allies (and can follow one), Combat Glide lets her float briefly and auto-revive with D.O.C. while she peels, and D.O.C. Halo throws a shield bubble that speeds consumable use inside it. Care Package is gone — do not draft her for loot drops.
She is a fight-sustain legend, not a free loot pinata. Standing in the open while the drone heals is still a free knock. Halo wins resets and post-knock stabilizes; burning it with no cover or no syringes wastes the ult.
Main Lifeline if you will revive aggressively and call when Halo is for a reset versus a hold. Practice assigning the drone to the cracked teammate while you hold an angle. Swap when your stack already has strong Support tools and needs scan or building instead.
Start the DOC revive from cover after the enemies reload or rotate, then shoot while the drone finishes. Drop Halo on a doorway or rock your squad can sit in — not mid-field — and use the faster heals to recontest, not to loot leisurely.
