Recon
Bloodhound
Scans for enemies and goes on a Beast of the Hunt rampage. Easy recon.
Should you main Bloodhound?
Bloodhound is a Recon legend first: Tracker leaves red trails on fresh clues and White Ravens that point toward fights, Eye of the Allfather scans through cover then leaves snapshot pings, and Allfather's Cloak (Season 30) throws a cloak field that speeds the squad and grants threat vision. Beast of the Hunt is gone — do not plan around an old ult.
Scan timing wins games. Scanning before you push tells the squad whether to commit; scanning mid-fight can still catch a flank. They are less valuable if you never call what you see or if your squad ignores the pings.
Main Bloodhound when your trio wants aggressive recon and you will vocalize every scan. Throw Allfather's Cloak when teammates are ready to swing or rotate — not as a solo ego device into three full squads. Pair with a fragger who actually swings on your scan.
Scan from cover before door peeks, and throw Allfather's Cloak for a third-party swing or an end-circle rotate where the speed and threat vision matter. Trails that lead into an open field without a plan are bait — clear the building the trail ends at, then decide whether cloak is for the entry or the exit.
